- README.INSTALLING
- -----------------
-
- Required:
- First you have to have a c64/c128 computer with a diskdrive, an RS-232
- converter (like the VIC-1011A RS232C or the Handic V24 interface) and a
- 3-line standard nullmodem cable.. You must also have an Amiga running
- OS2.04 or higher.
-
- Installing:
-
- 1. Type in the 'boot.asc' program on your c64. This is an 150 baud receiver
- program. Remeber to switch to normal kernal! ("boot" needs the kernal
- RS232 drivers) Do not add extra spaces to the basic code, as this slows
- down the program and it might fail to work.
-
- 2. Save "boot" to disk!
-
- 3. Type 'RUN' on the c64. It should now say 'WAITING...'.
-
- 4. Type 'bin/Over5 BOOT 64bin/diskslave' on the Amiga.
- some '*'s should start appering on the c64.
-
- 5. This is the teabreak. (i.e have tea) 150 baud is slow. (5 mins approx)
-
- 6. If the c64 says 'CHK OK', type 'SYS 49152', then type 'SAVE"DISKSLAVE",8'.
- If not check the c64 program, cables, etc... and goto 3
-
- 7. Type "RUN" on the c64. (Select Turbo on or off) Then press space.
- The screen should now be grey.
-
- 8. Transfer the rest of '64bin' with 'bin/Over5 COPY <filename> 8:'
-
-
- Have fun!
